Modification of service fees for guests
You've noticed a change in your service fee amount and are wondering why? Don't worry, here is a clear explanation of what has changed and what it means for your bookings.
What has changed
We recently changed how our service fees are calculated. Previously, the fee amount was significantly higher on the first payment installment, then much lower on subsequent installments.
Following feedback from many users, we have evolved this system. From now on, service fees are spread equally across all payment installments for your booking. The total amount remains the same: only the distribution over time has changed.
Why this change
Many users found the first installment too high compared to the following ones. By spreading the fees equally, we make each installment easier to read and more predictable, so you know exactly what to expect throughout your rental.
Regarding long-term bookings
For bookings that span several months, this spread-out amount might seem significant. This is normal: the fees are simply present on each installment rather than being concentrated at the beginning.
If you wish, you can remove your service fees entirely by subscribing to a Premium Pass. Once active, the Premium Pass completely removes the service fees on your bookings.
