How to switch from the tenant area to the host area?

On Roomlala, you can be both a tenant and a host. Your personal space adapts based on the chosen mode: you will only see the sections relevant to you. Switching from one to the other only takes a click!

Where can I find the button to change modes?

The mode change button is accessible from two locations:

• Your account menu (site header): click on your profile picture or the menu icon at the top right of the page. In the dropdown menu that appears, you will find the "Host Mode" or "Tenant Mode" button depending on your current mode.
• Your personal space menu: in the "Account" section of your dashboard, the same button is available at the bottom of the sub-menu.

How to change modes?

It's very simple:

• If you are in tenant mode, the button displays "Host Mode". Click on it to switch to the host space.
• If you are in host mode, the button displays "Tenant Mode". Click on it to return to the tenant space.

The change is instant: the page reloads and your personal space displays the sections corresponding to the new mode.

What changes depending on the mode?

The sections of your personal space automatically adapt.

In tenant mode, you access:

• Your favourites list
• Your search alerts
• Your reviews
• Your bookings

In host mode, you access:

• Your listings
• Your potential tenants
• Your statistics
• Your scheduled messages
• Your reviews
• Your bookings

Your messaging remains accessible in both modes, but it displays conversations corresponding to the selected mode.

Good to know

Changing modes doesn't delete anything: your listings, messages, and bookings are preserved. You can switch from one mode to another as many times as you wish, with no risk to your data.
