How do I enter my banking information?

To allow Roomlala to transfer your rent payments, you must provide your bank details. Don't worry, the process only takes a few minutes and your data is secure.
Accessing your bank details
Log in to your account, then head to the Bank details section of your profile. You will find all your saved bank account information here and can add new details.
Adding bank details
On the Bank details page, click the "Add bank details" button. A form will appear: simply enter your bank information, then click "Save".
The information required varies depending on your bank's country. In general, you will need to provide:
- The first and last name of the account holder (or company name)
- Your bank's address
- Your IBAN
- Your BIC / SWIFT code
- A name for these bank details (optional, useful for distinguishing them if you have several)
Be sure to double-check your entries before confirming: a single digit error in the IBAN or BIC can block the transfer of your rent payments.
Status of your bank details
Once saved, each set of bank details will display a status:
- Validated: your bank details have been verified and can be used to receive your payments.
- Needs correction: information is missing or incorrect. Click on "Edit these details" to fix the error.
Only validated bank details can be used to receive payments from your tenants.
Setting default bank details
If you have multiple bank accounts saved, one of them is automatically set as your default. This is the one that will be used for all listings for which you have not assigned specific bank details.
To change your default bank details, click the "Set as default" button on your chosen account, then confirm.
Assigning bank details to a listing
If you manage several listings, you can choose different bank details for each one. This is useful, for example, when your properties belong to different owners or you wish to separate financial flows by property.
Assignment is done directly from the Bank details page:
- Go to Bank details.
- Scroll down to the "My listings" section.
- Next to each listing, open the drop-down menu and select the bank details to use.
- The selection is saved automatically.
If you wish to return to your main bank details for a listing, simply select "Use my default bank details".
Only bank details with a "Validated" status appear in the drop-down menu. If the bank details you wish to use are not showing, first check their status in your list of bank accounts.
Is your data secure?
Yes. Your bank details are transmitted in encrypted form and kept completely secure. They are never shared with your tenants: they pay via the Roomlala platform, and we then transfer the funds due to you to the bank account associated with each listing.
