How to extend or shorten a rental before the start of the stay
You can change the dates or price of a reservation before the start of the stay in just a few steps.
- Log in to Roomlala
- Go to your email .
- Click on the "Edit dates / price" button on the relevant reservation .
⚠️ If the tenant requests a modification , it is imperative to validate it via messaging.
Open the conversation with the tenant, then click again on "Pre-accept" or "Accept" to confirm the change.
👉 A simple positive message is not enough. Validation must be done via the designated button.
📩 Once the change is validated, you will receive a confirmation email from Roomlala.
If you do not receive this email, the change has not been taken into account.
If in doubt, we advise you to contact customer service via the contact channels available on the website.
How to extend or shorten a rental after the start of the stay
For rentals of less than 45 days
Once the stay has begun, it is not possible to shorten a rental of less than 45 days.
💬 We advise you to discuss this directly with the tenant in order to find an amicable arrangement.
For this type of stay, the host receives the full rent 24 hours after the tenant's arrival .
To extend the rental , the procedure is the same as before the start of the stay.
Go to your email, then click on "Edit dates / price" .
For rentals of more than 45 days
In this case, the possible actions depend on your role.
⚠️ If a due date has passed , it is not possible to change it .
- Shorten the rental
Only the tenant can shorten the length of the stay. They must go to their calendar and click on "Shorten rental" . - Extend the rental
Only the host can extend the stay.
Go to your personal Roomlala space, then to the "Messaging" tab and the "Schedule" section.
Click on "Extend rental" , select the new end date using the navigation arrow, then click on "Edit" to confirm.
