Service fees as a tenant

In order for Roomlala to exist and offer you a reliable and quality service, a commission called a service fee is applied to each reservation paid online.

These fees include:

• VAT .
• Home insurance (only for properties located in Europe).
• Bank fees .
• Roomlala's remuneration .

Are the service fees only paid once?

Yes.

If your rental lasts more than 45 days and you do not pay the full amount at the time of reservation, you will pay a one-time 20% service fee calculated on 1.5 months' rent .

For subsequent payments, Roomlala only charges a fixed fee of €5 per payment.

How are service fees calculated?

For bookings of less than 45 days

The service fee represents 20% of the total reservation amount .

Example: if your reservation amount is €200, Roomlala charges a €40 service fee.

The total amount to be paid is therefore €240 .

For bookings of more than 45 days

The service fees are equivalent to 20% of one and a half months' rent .

Example: if the monthly rent is €800, Roomlala charges €240 at the time of reservation.

800 × 1.5 × 0.2 = €240

Service fees and Premium Membership

If you are a Premium member , the amount of your Premium Membership is deducted from the service fees , up to the limit of its amount.

Example: if you have purchased a Premium Membership for €30, €30 will be deducted from the service fees of your next bookings.
