Verification of identity documents

For the safety of all its members, Roomlala asks you to verify your identity by importing a valid proof of identity (identity card, passport or driver's license).

This verification requires the use of a smartphone.

How do I verify my identity?

Go to the My Account tab, then to the Verifications section. Before verifying your ID, you must first verify your phone number (this is the step just before).

Once this step is complete, access the verification form from your smartphone. If you are logged in on a computer, an access link will be sent to you via SMS.

Identity verification is only possible from a smartphone. It cannot be done on a computer.

If you are unable to verify your identity

Send us a message via the contact section with:

- A photo of the front and back of your ID - A selfie of you holding your ID

Once you have provided this information, please wait for a response from our customer service department.

If you are applying for a rental on behalf of someone else (for example, one of your children), it is always the identity of the person signing the contract that must be verified. Remember to also inform the host.

Tips to avoid being rejected

- Use a valid (unexpired) ID document - Verify that the name on your Roomlala account matches the name on the document - Use a clear and legible document - Clearly show your ID in the selfie - Ensure that your face and the document are visible

During the verification process, you must submit a selfie of yourself holding your ID, clearly visible in the photo. This step is located at the end of the verification form.
