How do I update my calendar availability?
Updated on 06/04/2026
Keeping your calendar up to date ensures you only receive booking requests for dates you are actually available, and allows you to adjust your rates based on the period. Here is how to access and manage it, step by step.
Accessing your calendar
Log in to your account, then click on the “Calendar” tab in your personal dashboard menu. You will land on the My calendars page, which lists all of your listings.
Click on the listing of your choice to open its calendar and edit it.
Reading your calendar
On the calendar, each day is displayed with a color and indicator showing its status:
- Blocked days (which you have made unavailable) appear grayed out.
- Reserved days are marked and link to the relevant booking.
- Synchronized days from another site display the name of the source.
- Available days display the nightly rate, with a color that varies according to the seasonal pricing you have set.
How it works
The principle is always the same: select a range of days on the calendar, then choose the desired action from the menu that appears at the bottom of the screen.
- To make days unavailable, select the dates and then click “Block”.
- To free up blocked days and make them available for booking again, select them, then click “Release”.
- To apply a seasonal rate, select the desired days, then use the “Seasonality” menu. You can increase or decrease the rate by choosing a percentage relative to your base rate.
To modify your base rates and discounts, use the “Rates” link at the top of the calendar.
Keeping your calendar up to date
If your calendar has not been updated in over a month, a reminder will be displayed and the listing will show the “Calendar to be updated” badge on the My calendars page. If your availability has not changed, simply click “My calendar is up to date” to confirm.
Synchronizing your calendar
If you also list your property on other sites, you can synchronize their calendars with Roomlala using the “Calendar synchronization” option at the top of the calendar. Dates reserved elsewhere will then be automatically blocked on our platform, and vice versa.
Good to know
Seasonal rates are only available if you accept rental durations of less than 30 days.
