How does Roomlala 's insurance work?

Who is covered?

🙋‍♂️ Any tenant, natural or legal person, French or foreign, renting furnished accommodation on Roomlala in Europe.

What type of accommodation?

🏠 House, apartment, caravan, mobile home.

What are the guarantees?

Rental liability

This guarantee covers damage caused by fire, explosion, water damage, or freezing originating in the dwelling. It provides financial protection against damage to the owner's personal property and real estate, expert fees, travel or replacement costs, as well as temporary accommodation expenses incurred after a loss.

The insurer also covers lost rent or loss of use of the property for the owner. The guarantee is valid up to €500,000 for all damages combined.

Recourse from neighbors and third parties

If a fire, explosion, water damage, or freezing affects the property and causes property damage to neighbors or third parties, this guarantee covers the tenant's liability. It is valid up to €450,000 for all damages combined.

Civil liability for property damage

This guarantee covers accidental damage to the personal property listed in the inventory, located in the rented accommodation, as well as to the real estate belonging to the owner. It is valid up to €4,000, with a deductible of €75.

How do I make an insurance claim?

If you meet the above criteria, you can contact the Albinet agency, which manages the ADAR-RL insurance included in your rental. They will review your case and let you know if it is eligible for coverage.
