Find a spare room in London

London is one of the most popular destinations for tourists, students and expats in the world. It is almost unrivalled in the amount of things to do and see across the city, with some of the most iconic sights in the UK. The capital city offers nightlife, culture, music, history and pretty much anything you could ask for. Unfortunately, that does not include low rent. Taking a spare room in a private home will offer you a cheaper option for your studies, weekend break or long term move and will give you more money to explore London.

What are London’s highlights?

When you go to London, there’s so much to do it’s hard to know where to start, so always do some research before jetting off ! We can only recommend so much : it’s up to you to decide what to do.

If you like culture, London has some of the best museums in Europe. The British Museum, The V&A and the National Gallery all have a wide variety of exhibits and things to see, while the Tower of London is a must, although a ticket is £22.50. If you have the time, try to catch a play or show at one of the theatres in London’s West End like the National Theatre or the Apollo Victoria. Of course, who can forget Madame Tussaud’s – though be prepared to queue if you don’t book in advance !

For nightlife, London certainly delivers. Lively areas such as Soho and Shoreditch are full of places to go, and there are tons of bar crawls and ‘Historical pub walks’ to give you a feel for what places you like best. There are music venues everywhere, big and small – Wembley is a career peak for many musicians. Wembley is also home to great sporting events, so there’s something for everyone !
